Hello, I am Manish Das born in 1981 in Birgunj, an industrial city of Nepal. I belong to a Nepalese middle class family living in semi urban area of Birgunj city. My father is a retired professor of Tribhuvan University and my mother is a housewife. I have one elder brother and two elder sisters. Being the youngest among all four children of my parents, I am the luckiest to enjoy unconditional love from all my family members.

Being a healthcare management student for five years and a professional working in the field of humanity and health care, my interest in this field of study is very high. In days to come, I am steadfast to equip myself more robustly to face newer challenges and explore new horizons in this field in Nepal. My long-term professional goal is to be a successful leader who can make significant contribution for better public health status and better living condition in Nepal. I am extremely interested in teaching & learning activities as well.

To start with, I worked as Senior Program Officer for Sunaulo Parivar Nepal (a local partner of Marie Stopes International, London and a leading NGO working in the field of reproductive healthcare in Nepal). At present, I am working as a Field Officer for International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) at ICRC Antenna Office, Birgunj. ICRC is an international humanitarian organization working for assistance and protection of conflict victims of international and non-international armed conflict. Here I have to look after different ICRC program in four central Terai districts and one hilly district. I am enjoying every bit of my time in this challenging job and look forward for more challenges.
